Our Journey

History

Founded in 1995 following Kyrgyzstan's independence, Aurora University of Knowledge began as a small institute focused on business and economics to support the country's transition to a market economy.

In 2005, the institute expanded to become a full-fledged university, adding faculties of humanities, sciences, and engineering. This expansion was supported by international partnerships with universities across Europe and Asia.

The university was renamed "Aurora University of Knowledge" in 2010, symbolizing the dawn of a new era of enlightenment and knowledge in the region. The name reflects our commitment to illuminating minds and brightening futures.

Today, Aurora University stands as one of Central Asia's premier educational institutions, with over 5,000 students from more than 30 countries, a diverse faculty of renowned scholars, and a growing reputation for research excellence and innovation.
